DIRECTIONS: Southern Buttermilk Pancakes and Waffles - Preheat lightly greased griddle to 375 Degrees. Add 1 Cups Water to mix and stir until batter is slightly lumpy. For pancakes flip when first bubbles appear and stay on surface. To make thinner pancakes add more water. Heat plates in oven and serve pancakes hot and top with butter and warm syrup or fruit.
RECIPES:
Pigs in a Blanket - Fry up sausage links. Mix Julia's Pantry Pancake and Waffle Mix according to directions. After you remove the hot cake off the griddle, roll the sausage link into it. Make 4 pigs in a blanket and top with your favorite syrup.
Chocolate Chip Pancakes - A kid favorite. Mix Julia's Pantry Buttermilk Pancake Mix according to directions. Stir in 1/2 - 3/4 cup of mini chocolate chips. Cook on griddle. Chocolaty Delicious!
Banana Walnut Pancakes - Mix up a batch of Julia's Pantry Buttermilk Pancake Mix and cook according to directions. Top with sliced bananas, chopped walnuts, and Julia's Pantry Maple Praline Syrup.
