This Westinghouse Saf-T-Brace allows people to safely install ceiling fans and lighting fixtures without accessing the attic. Instead, this mounting brace is meant to be installed through a 4-inch hole in a finished ceiling. It supports light fixtures of up to 150 pounds and ceiling fans of up to 70 pounds. The brace has three teeth to twist in and lock in the ceiling joists. It has a square tube that can easily be turned or adjusted.
